The Design and Creation of Websites
The main focus of Web Mechanix is the design and creation of websites. This encompasses
entry-level websites with static content all the way up to multi-functional high-security e-commerce
web applications.
Basic Sites with Static Content
These are sites that do not need to be changed regularly. Mostly these websites consist of about 5
pages, although some we have created contain as many as 70! Sites are not considered basic because of
their size, but because of the fact that they do not need constant changes to their content.
Some clients with constantly changing content prefer to have a static website and to contract Web
Mechanix to act as webmaster and make weekly / monthly changes on their behalf.
Programmed e-Commerce Sites
When one refers to programmed or "database driven" websites, one immediately thinks of content managed
sites. These websites allow clients to update all or some of their site information themselves.
Whilst Web Mechanix has created a great many content managed sites we have also designed many other
